For this autumn we are fulfilling a campaign providing nine local authorities’ public libraries, with their bespoke promotional Local Library Bookmarks.
Public Libraries in: Bedford, Cornwall, Dorset, Herefordshire, Hertfordshire, Somerset & North Somerset, Surrey and Torbay are all making good use of their own Library Bookmarks to promote various library services…
These bookmarks are backed by sponsorship message about Protexin’s ‘Lepicol’. As a direct result, the advertisers who appear on the bookmarks, also derive great value from their investment.
140,000 bookmarks are being made available to both current and potential library users through library activities and outreach. These regions’ 229 library sites see more than 1.7 Million library visits a month from people of all ages.

Herefordshire Libraries are promoting their health and wellbeing provision
Herefordshire’s 11 sites see more than 70,000 visits a month.
Hertfordshire libraries are promoting their Health and Wellbeing and their DVDs
Hertfordshire’s 46 library sites see more than 320,000 visits a month.
Cornwall’s 30 libraries see more than 270,000 visits a month.
Cornwall Libraries are really pleased with the bookmarks that promoting their health and wellbeing and their Read Well resources. They have received comments that the bookmarks are ‘lovely and colourful’ and ‘really show that books are bursting with information’.

More than 70% of children aged 5 to 15 and more than 1 in 3 adults aged 16+ visited public libraries in the last year.
