Another example here, sees Heathwatch Ealing’s featured promotion on a batch of Library Bookmarks being distributed by Ealing Libraries. As you know local Healthwatch services are making good use of the public libraries’ position at the heart of our communities. You can see other Healthwatch Library Bookmark campaigns here.
Ealing’s Libraries see more than 55,000 visits a fortnight. As well as the bookmarks being made available at 13 library sites….
- Staff are giving bookmarks to parents at nursery groups.
- Libraries are sharing bookmarks with teenagers through high school visits.
- Activities such as Refugee Week has seen bookmarks being shared with participants and visitors.
- This year’s TRA Summer Reading Challenge will see visits to primary schools where the bookmarks will be shared with to the children.
“Healthwatch Ealing is all about local voices being used to influence the delivery and design of our health and social care services. Not just for people who use them now, but anyone who might need to in the future.”
