Over the last 12 months we’ve again seen many libraries keenly making good use of Library Bookmarks. You can see a selection of what libraries have been doing here :
We’ve already mentioned Ealing Libraries who see more than 55,000 visits a fortnight. As well as the bookmarks being made available at 13 library sites….
- Staff are giving bookmarks to parents at nursery groups.
- Libraries are sharing bookmarks with teenagers through high school visits.
- Activities such as Refugee Week has seen bookmarks being shared with participants and visitors.
- This year’s TRA Summer Reading Challenge will see visits to primary schools where the bookmarks will be shared with to the children.
We’ve also mentioned Wiltshire libraries who are using library bookmarks to spread the word about their:
Wiltshire Libraries’ 30 sites see more than 105,000 visits a fortnight! There 40,000 bookmarks are being shared with library users and further afield.
